Supplies and Instrument Rental Information

We will need an instrument and some basic supplies to get started with our lessons. Please see the instruction sheet (link below) to get started! I recommend placing the order by early August. You will need adult family members at home to help you with this.

About Strings...

4th Graders can join strings class and learn to play the violin, viola, cello, or string bass. Here is how it works...

1.) Students receive one 30 minute lesson each week during the school day. Lessons begin the week after labor day.

2.) 4th Graders begin coming to orchestra before school on Fridays in January. It starts at 7:30. Let me know if you need help finding transportation :)

3.) Students receive two report cards in strings (January and June). Students are expected to always do their best and practice 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week to participate.
